Dr. Dawn Olson received a doctorate in Naprapathy from the Chicago National College of Naprapathy and a B.S. in biochemistry from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.Following graduation, she did an internship with the In Balance Health Center under Dr. Marc Margiotta, DN.She is Nationally Board certified and a licensed Naprapath in Illinois.Dr. Olson attended the Upledger Institute for additional training in Cranial Sacral therapy and Lymph Drainage Therapy and multidisciplinary approaches to low back and pelvic pain.Dr. Olson has also taken bodywork and nutrition classes through the Trinity School of Natural Health.Dr. Olson is a former researcher of hormone imbalances and stress at NorthwesternUniversity in the Department of Neurobiology and Physiology.She was also on the faculty at the Zen Shiatsu school of Massage Therapy teaching Physiology.Dr. Olson incorporates her knowledge and skill in all of these disciplines to provide a very integrated therapeutic approach for her patients.
Dr. Olson regularly gives back to the community by doing free spinal screenings at health fairs and fund raisers.She is an athlete and musician herself and understands the importance of good nutrition and good body mechanics in all daily activities.She currently practices at Complete Chiropractic Care, 1749 S Naperville Rd., #207, Wheaton, IL60189 and at the AlternativePainCareCenter, 4711 Golf Rd, #413, Skokie, IL60076 (located in Tower 1 of the Concord Office Plaza just West of the Double Tree Hotel).
